Air Conditioning Engineer | Mobile | London

• Job Title: Air Conditioning Engineer

• Location: Mobile - London Region (Central, Greater, Home counties) - within/under 60/90 minutes of home.

• Salary: £40,000 - £46,000 per annum (depending on experience)

• Employment Benefits: additional 1 hour per day paid travel time, Company van, fuel card, employer pension scheme, 29 days paid annual leave, mobile, uniform, private healthcare scheme, paid overtime available.

• Call Out: 1 in 4 weeks (£60 per call out / £80 on sundays & bank holidays) - this rate covers travel and first hour on site, following this you will be paid overtime rates.

• Realistic on target earnings with overtime & call out: £55,000 - £70,000.

• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00am - 5:00pm (standard hours - this may vary/be flexible based on a 8 hour working day).

We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team and carry out maintenance, repairs and minor installations on air conditioning systems across a range of commercial and industrial sites in London.

As an Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all air conditioning systems are running smoothly and efficiently, in accordance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Duties:

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on air conditioning systems, including fault-finding, repairs, and component replacements as required.

• Installing, commissioning, and decommissioning air conditioning systems as required.

• Conducting regular inspections and testing of air conditioning systems to identify and rectify any issues.

• Liaising with clients and colleagues to provide expert advice on air conditioning matters, and to ensure that all work is carried out to their satisfaction.

• Keeping accurate records of all maintenance and repair work carried out, including completing paperwork and electronic records as required.

• Technical equipment may include: splits / multi splits, VRV, VRF systems, working with a variety of manufactures equipment (Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi Heavy Ind, Panasonic, Fujitsu and etc), F-Gas leak testing, refrigeration recovery, pressure testing, brazed repairs, replacing components such as fan motors, PCBs, sensors etc.

Requirements:

• A relevant air conditioning qualification (e.g. F Gas, City & Guilds 2079, NVQ Level 2/3, or equivalent).

• Proven experience working as an Air Conditioning Engineer, ideally within commercial environments.

• A good working knowledge of relevant air conditioning regulations and industry standards.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues, and external contractors.

• A full UK driving licence.
