• Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Location: Westminster, Central / South West London

• Salary: £40,000.00 per annum

• Package Overview: Up to £4,000 additional to salary in site allowances, 25 days total paid annual leave, employer pension, paid overtime available, NO call out rota, income protection scheme etc.

• Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00am - 5:00pm

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a large, industry leading service provider. This role is working within a government owned, commercial office premises. In this role, you will be responsible for the building services, more specifically; maintenance and repair of all electrical equipment and systems within the commercial buildings, ensuring that they are functioning efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of all electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.

• Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with electrical equipment and systems.

• Conducting repairs and replacements of faulty or damaged electrical components.

• Installations, commissioning and decommisioning of electrical systems.

• Regular inspections and testing of electrical systems.

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards.

• Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair work undertaken.

• Planned and Reactive Maintenance / Minor project works.

• Equipment includes: lamps, ballasts, emergency light testing, decorative lighting, LED lighting upgrades, control panel maintenance, door access systems, security access systems, sockets, circuits, transformers, induction motors, power distribution, electrical components to all HVAC / Plant equipment, power supplies to HVAC / plant equipment, basic routine maintenance across HVAC equipment, ie: coil cleans, filter changes etc (AHUs, FCUs, Splits/Multi Splits, Boilers, Chillers).

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant Electrical Qualifications (City and Guilds 2330, 2365, 236, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).

• A minimum of 3 years' experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer within the commercial property / building services market.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.

• Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering.
